Built in 1881, the charm of our historic building is second to none. Some of the previous tenants of 256 Spring Street include, a jeweler, pool hall, doctors office, dentists office, school of business, warehouse, grocery store, bargain store, produce store, radio store, art glass store, novelty store, antique shop, salvation army store, corvette parts store, electronics store as well as many residences.
Chef Bowe was born and raised in the coal fields of West Virginia, the heart of Appalachia. He earned undergraduate degrees in business from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Chef Bowe completed his ‘Certified Chef de Cuisine’ at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
Chef has held titles of Corporate Executive Chef, Culinary Arts Instructor, and restaurant owner; he has been with The Red Yeti since it's beginning in 2014.
Chef now lives in Louisville and is happily married to his wife Alexis.

At Red Yeti, our bar focuses on guiding our guests through a wide variety of craft beers and scratch cocktails; our syrups are made in house, our ingredients are locally sourced, and our recipes are unique. Our drinks are always poured with the guest's experience in mind with local flavor you’ll find nowhere else.
